DON'T MISS THIS

Daily Inspiration

Focus on the little things. They are what makes life magic.

Just a few thoughts for you to ponder on.

When I was 18, I started a list of things that make me smile. Things that filled me up with hope and strength on very tough days. I found that it’s often the little things in life, the tiny moments of joy that made all the difference in my day.

I’m talking about how noticing small things bring you happiness, whatever the circumstances you find yourself in. Yes. Even if they’re just for a a few seconds or a minute or two.

Whenever something makes your soul smile – like the sound of the rain, the first sip of your morning coffee, a baby laughing, bird song at sunrise, or your cat purring on your lap – make sure you take note of it. Bank those moments and those memories. Then actively include the emotions they evoke, these delightful moments, into your daily routine.  Just pop them into your morning coffee break, or before your head lays on the pillow at night. When you brush your hair. When you hug your children. And especially before you begin any wellness practice.

Because you know what? No matter how tiny it may seem, your life is made up of moments,  and it’s those small moments that can really brighten up our day and make us appreciate the magic of life. So make sure to take note of your life’s little blessings and remember to make your heart smile.
